560 million VND and 15,000 sets of clothing donated to flood-hit residents in Dak Lak
The Hai Phong Tourism Association have mobilized donations from its members to support residents affected by flooding in Dak Lak province.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee and the Red Cross Society of Hai Phong city held a ceremony on December 22 to receive 560 million VND and 15,000 sets of clothing in support of flood-affected people in Dak Lak province.
The donations were raised and collected by the Hai Phong Tourism Association from its members. Of the total, 560 million VND in cash came from multiple association members, while 15,000 sets of clothing, valued at 4.5 billion VND, were donated by Babeeni Group.

Speaking at the reception, Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Board of the city Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the city VFF Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the meaningful contribution of the city Tourism Association and Babeeni Group. He said this was a practical and timely activity that helped promote the tradition of great national unity and the spirit of mutual support and solidarity in social welfare work.
Mai Xuan Thang, representative of the city Tourism Association, said that joining hands with the city VFF Committee and Red Cross Society was the responsibility of the association as well as the city business community toward localities severely affected by natural disasters, thereby spreading positive humanitarian values throughout society.

As planned, all cash and in-kind donations received will be promptly delivered to Dak Lak province by the city VFF Committee in coordination with relevant agencies and units, ensuring timely distribution to the right beneficiaries in an open and transparent manner, helping flood-hit residents overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
