To comprehensively care for the material and spiritual well-being of trade union members and workers on the occasion of the Year of the Horse 2026, the Hai Phong Confederation of Labor will organize the program “Tet Reunion – Spring of Gratitude to the Party” and the 2026 Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market, featuring a range of practical and meaningful activities.
The program is scheduled to take place on the morning of January 29, 2026 at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, with the participation of around 700 trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Activities will include the screening of the documentary “Tet Reunion – Warming the hearts of Hai Phong workers;” the presentation of Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the city Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Confederation of Labor; musical performances, stage activities themed “Workers’ families, a spring of reunion;” and a lucky draw.
The 2026 Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market is expected to be held in two areas in the eastern and western parts of the city, with a minimum scale of 300 booths offering essential goods, OCOP products and high-quality Vietnamese products, discounted by 10 - 50%. The Organizing Committee plans to distribute at least 5,000 free shopping vouchers, each worth 200,000 VND, with a total budget of 1 billion VND, to directly support trade union members and workers facing difficulties.
The program is implemented under the motto “All trade union members and workers can enjoy Tet,” aiming for 100% of grassroots trade union organizations to organize the “Tet Reunion – Spring of Gratitude to the Party” program in appropriate forms, creating a joyful and cohesive atmosphere that strengthens the bond between trade unions and members, contributing to stable labor relations and the successful fulfillment of the city’s socio-economic development tasks.
