Hai Phong Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary pays Christmas visit to Bishopric
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Do Manh Hien has acknowledged the local Catholic community’s positive contributions to socio-economic development and national unity consolidation.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Do Manh Hien on December 19 visited and extended greetings to the city Bishopric on the occasion of Christmas 2025.
Hien highly appreciated the active contributions of the local Catholic community to patriotic emulation movements, socio-economic development, social welfare assurance, and building of the great national unity bloc over the past time. He noted that the city’s notable achievements have been made with the important contributions of Catholics in the Hai Phong Diocese.
On the occasion of Christmas 2025 approaching, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee extended his wishes for a merry Christmas to dignitaries, clergy and all parishioners.
A representative of the Hai Phong Bishopric thanked the city leaders for their attention and affirmed to continue encouraging the Catholic community to live “good lives and beautiful faith,” actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and accompany the authorities in building and developing Hai Phong into an increasingly prosperous and civilized city.
