Hai Phong supports FDI, connects investment and business

The conference on removing difficulties, supporting foreign-invested (FDI) enterprises, and connecting investment and business was highly valued for its effectiveness and alignment with companies’ practical needs.

The Hai Phong Department of Finance chaired a conference on removing difficulties, supporting FDI enterprises, and connecting investment and business, attracting around 200 enterprise representatives on December 12.

At the conference, competent agencies received feedback and addressed obstacles faced by enterprises, while providing guidance on procedures related to regulations on investment supervision reporting and online reporting in the Ministry of Finance system, procedures following the issuance of investment registration certificates, and support points when enterprises have needs.

Enterprises were also provided with information on tools supporting investment management and attraction; investment attraction needs in industrial clusters; answers to issues related to recruitment and work permit issuance for foreign workers; residence procedures; and environmental standards and processes.

The investment and business connectivity session is held in a one-on-one matchmaking format, creating opportunities for enterprises to directly seek partners and connect supporting products.

The activity was highly appreciated for its effectiveness and suitability to the practical needs of enterprises. The event contributed to building a transparent, fair and healthy investment environment, while ensuring that enterprises in the area receive timely guidance and support for sustainable development and legal compliance.

According to leaders of the Department of Finance, Hai Phong aims for total social investment resources of 2.4 quadrillion VND in the 2026 – 2030 period, with investment from FDI enterprises accounting for about 50%.
