Tan Vu terminal has surpassed the 1-million-TEU mark in 2025, reaching the milestone 20 days ahead of schedule.

Tan Vu terminal of Hai Phong Port JSC. has marked the handling of its one-millionth TEU in 2025.

The container, numbered SEKU 4469964, was successfully loaded onto the vessel MSK NARVIK, marking the milestone.

The one-millionth TEU was achieved 20 days earlier than planned. This is the fifth consecutive year that Tan Vu terminal has reached this achievement.

In 2025, despite the maritime transport market being affected by restructuring, tariff policies, and intensifying competition, Tan Vu terminal’s ability to handle one million TEU reflects its operational capacity and positive signs in import-export activities. The terminal is expected to handle 1.1 million TEU by the end of 2025.

In 2026, the terminal aims to continue enhancing operational capacity, accelerating technological application, and maintaining the “million TEU” level, significantly contributing to the sustainable development of Hai Phong Port.
