Hai Phong businesses, Vietnamese companies in Hungary ink cooperation deal
The Vietnamese Business Association in Hungary has signed memorandum of cooperation with the Hai Phong Business Association.
A delegation from the Vietnamese Business Association in Hungary had a meeting and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Hai Phong Business Association on December 9 afternoon in Hai Phong.
Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Tibor Baloghdi attended the event.
At the meeting, the Vietnamese Business Association in Hungary introduced to Hai Phong businesses three new technological materials with advanced features in construction and healthcare, namely GWR Nano thermal-insulation liquid, WLC material, which produces concrete from waste to replace sand and gravel, and Safe Laser, a handheld home-use safety laser device.
The two associations signed a memorandum of understanding, opening new cooperation opportunities between the Hai Phong business community and Vietnamese enterprises in Hungary.
The purpose is to seek partners and expand cooperation and investment opportunities in fields applying advanced European science and technology.
Both sides expressed hope for practical and meaningful cooperation, moving toward technology transfer and production partnerships to create quality products at reasonable costs and to expand market access.
Ambassador Baloghdi Tibor praised the dynamism and creativity of the Vietnamese business community in Hungary, which has effectively strengthened trade relations between the two countries.
He said two-way trade between Vietnam and Hungary in 2025 exceeded 1 billion USD and expressed hope that Hungarian and Vietnamese businesses will continue to connect and promote bilateral trade.
In the context of Vietnam implementing the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation and Resolution 68 on private sector development, cooperation, experience exchange, and investment connectivity with foreign partners, particularly in science and technology, play an important role, contributing to attracting investment to Hai Phong.
