Hai Phong’s 11-month IIP rises by 15.14%
Hai Phong’s index of industrial production (IIP) in the first 11 months of 2025 is estimated to increase by 15.14% compared with the same period in 2024.
Hai Phong’s IIP in November is estimated to rise by 4.19% against the previous month, according to the city Statistics Office.
Several key industrial sectors posted strong growth compared with the same period last year, including the manufacture of other transport vehicles (up 70.63%); the manufacture of electronic products, computers and optical products (41.96%); and the repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment (22.01%).
For the first 11 months of 2025 as a whole, Hai Phong’s IIP is estimated to grow by 15.14% year-on-year. In which, the manufacturing and processing sector increased by 16.92%, while the water supply, waste and wastewater treatment sector rose by 6.64%.
Over the past five years, Hai Phong’s 11-month IIP has remained relatively stable with relatively high increases, with the manufacturing and processing sector consistently serving as the primary driver of growth.
