Kien An to speed up site clearance and public investment disbursement
Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Anh Quan has required the Kien An Project Management Board to highly focus on public investment disbursement in the area.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Anh Quan inspected site clearance and public investment disbursement for projects in Kien An area on December 8.
According to reports at the inspection, the Kien An Project Management Board is the investor of 39 projects in Phu Lien and Kien An wards, of which 26 have been completed and 13 are under construction.
As for public investment, 298 billion VND out of nearly 449 billion VND has been disbursed in the entire area, equivalent to 66% of the 2025 capital allocation plan.
Standing Vice Chairman Le Anh Quan conducted on-site inspections of the project to renovate and upgrade alley 243 on Hoang Quoc Viet street in Phu Lien ward and the project to build the Hanh Phuc Lake Flower Garden in Kien An ward.
Quan emphasized that the Kien An Project Management Board must highly focus on public investment disbursement and ensure all plans are completed on schedule. He also urged contractors to increase manpower and equipment to accelerate construction progress, particularly on transport-related projects, to avoid affecting residents’ daily activities.
Relevant departments and sectors are required to support the locality in evaluating, accepting, settling and finalizing works and projects, and resolving obstacles related to compensation, support and site clearance.
