226 students compete in national final of international mathematics Olympiad
226 students from primary and junior high schools in the western area of Hai Phong have competed in the national final of the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.

The national final of the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) for the 2025 – 2026 academic year took place at Marie Curie II Junior and Senior High School in Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Phong city on the afternoon of December 7.

This year’s exam had 226 candidates from 15 schools in the western area of Hai Phong, including 45 junior high students and 181 primary ones.
Within 90 minutes, the candidates had to complete 25 questions in English (with Vietnamese subtitles), covering logical reasoning, arithmetic – algebra, number theory, geometry, and combinatorics.

The national final of the TIMO were held at several locations across the country. Hai Phong had two testing sites in the western and eastern areas of the city, with the western site hosted by Marie Curie II Junior and Senior High School.
