Accelerating project implementation and public investment disbursement
Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan has required relevant units to continue accelerating progress and apply flexible implementation measures to ensure 100% disbursement in 2025.
Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan inspected site clearance work and the disbursement of public investment for projects in Kim Thanh on December 4.
Van Quan acknowledged the efforts of localities in site clearance, helping maintain overall project progress. He asked the units to further accelerate progress and remain flexible in implementation to ensure 100% disbursement in 2025.
Earlier, the delegation conducted a field inspection of three projects, including an interchange connecting national highway 17B, national highway 5, and Ha Noi – Hai Phong railway; the East – West trunk-road and its branch leading to the national highway 5 overpass intersection; and the project to upgrade and expand the road section from the former Kim Thanh District Party Committee intersection to Ngu Phuc roundabout.
In which, the project to build the interchange connecting national highway 17B, national highway 5, and Ha Noi – Hai Phong railway covers a total area of about 16.7 with an investment of 1.867 trillion VND. About 70% of construction volume has so far been completed.
The East – West trunk-road project consists of two subprojects with a total investment of 844.47 billion VND. Of these, the 3.75-km section has been completed and put into operation, and the 12-km section is under construction with three contract packages, reaching about 40% of volume.
The project to upgrade and expand the road section from the former Kim Thanh District Party Committee intersection to Ngu Phuc roundabout has reached about 50% of volume.
