Nguyen Giap inaugurates Korean-funded health station
After 10 months of construction, the Nguyen Giap No. 3 Health Station, worth over 6.2 billion VND, has been inaugurated in Hai Phong city.
The Hai Phong Department of Foreign Affairs, the city Union of Friendship Organizations, and Good People International (GPI) inaugurated and put into operation the Nguyen Giap No. 3 Health Station on December 2.
The project, worth more than 6.2 billion VND, was funded by GPI and Seegene Pharmaceutical Company of South Korea.
After 10 months of construction, the project was completed with two floors, 12 examination and treatment rooms, functional rooms, and auxiliary facilities that meet national standards for commune- and ward-level healthcare.
Modern medical equipment on the Ministry of Health’s approved list, including ultrasound machines, sterilizers, storage cabinets, and sickbeds, was provided by Seegene Pharmaceutical Company, contributing to improving healthcare services for residents of Nguyen Giap commune and nearby areas.
The project is expected to improve local healthcare capacity in particular and deepen the cooperative relationship between Hai Phong and South Korean partners in general.
