Many more units in Hai Phong support flood-hit people

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong has promptly transferred funds and relief supplies to support people in central and Central Highland regions.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee –Relief Mobilization Board of Hai Phong city on December 1 continued to receive donations from organizations and units in the city for people affected by natural disasters.

The donors included residents, officials and Party members of Gia Vien ward with more than 1 billion VND and 5,100 CAD; the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Lao commune with 500 million VND and 20 tons of rice; Hai Phong University with more than 322 million VND; Cat Hai special zone with 250 million VND; the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hoa commune with 150 million VND; To Hieu School of Politics with 37 million VND; etc.

By 7 pm on November 30, 6,501 groups and individuals had contributed more than 10.6 billion VND to support people in central and Central Highland regions affected by flooding. The city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee –Relief Mobilization Board has received and transported more than 70 tons of goods to assist Dak Lak province.
