12 Hai Phong students win Gyeongbuk Hakdang Korean Language Contest 2025
The Gyeongbuk Hakdang Korean Language Contest provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, practice Korean, and promote the study of Korean in Hai Phong schools.

The Polytechnics Vietnam - Korea Culture Center and South Korea’s Gyeongsangbuk province co-organized the Gyeongbuk Hakdang Korean Language Contest 2025 at the multifunction hall of Hai Phong Polytechnics College on November 29.
After preliminary rounds and interviews from hundreds of contestants, the organizing committee selected 12 outstanding students for the final round. Each contestant delivered a 5-minute speech and directly answered questions from the judging panel. Many were recognized for strong skills, particularly in presentations and situational responses.

The contest provided a healthy platform for students passionate about Korean. Through the contest, they had the opportunity to engage with Korean language and culture, promote messages of cultural exchange and friendship between Vietnam and South Korea, and support the Korean community living and working in Hai Phong, contributing to the development of Korean language learning in local schools.
At the end of the contest, the organizers awarded the special prize to Nguyen Minh Chau from Tran Phu Senior High School for the Gifted, along with 1 gold prize, 2 silver prizes, 2 bronze prizes, and 6 consolation prizes.
