Eligible patients received phacoemulsification cataract surgery using the latest-generation Centurion system from the US, with imported intraocular lenses from Europe or Japan.
The patients were also provided with nutritious breakfast and lunch on the day of surgery, prescribed postoperative medication, follow-up examinations as required, protective eyewear and a free six-month follow-up package. The total value of each surgical package is 16 million VND.

As planned, the program will take place throughout November and December 2025 at the Ha Noi – Hai Phong Eye Hospital.
The program is intended for 500 trade union members, workers and their relatives (biological parents and parents-in-law) diagnosed with cataracts and indicated for surgery, with priority given to union members in difficult circumstances who hold health insurance cards.
The initiative aims to realize the trade union’s policy of “Ensuring welfare for trade union members.”
