Hai Phong Party Committee’s Standing Board launches support for flood-hit people
The Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee continues to call on the entire political system, all residents, and the business community to support Dak Lak and other provinces in Central and Central Highland regions affected by flooding.
The Standing Board of the Hai Phong Party Committee launched a campaign on November 24 to support people suffering losses caused by natural disasters in 2025.
Following the Politburo’s conclusion on addressing the consequences of rain and floods in the Central region, the Standing Board directed the Party Committee of the city People’s Committee to report and propose measures to support Dak Lak in recovering from the damage.
On November 23, a Hai Phong delegation led by Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee, visited, encouraged, and delivered 40 billion VND in cash along with medicines and medical supplies worth 2 billion VND to Dak Lak, helping the province provide emergency relief and address urgent needs.
Earlier, on November 14, Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the city Party Committee, and Head of the city Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, together with a working group, visited, encouraged, and provided support to Gia Lai and Dak Lak, offering 10 billion VND to each province.
Agencies, units, localities, businesses, and residents in Hai Phong have been engaging in meaningful and practical activities by contributing funds, essential goods, and medical supplies to help affected communities cope with flooding.
The Standing Board of the city Party Committee continues to mobilize the entire political system, all residents, and the business community to support Dak Lak and other provinces in Central and Central Highland regions affected by flooding.
