Hai Phong enterprises seize opportunities from digital transformation
Many enterprises in Hai Phong are proactively promoting innovation and digital transformation to realize the Politburo’s Resolution 57 and the city’s Action Program 89.

Enhancing competitiveness
Ha Long Export Seafood Processing JSC. in Ngo Quyen ward, Hai Phong city specializes in producing and processing frozen seafood. Its products and brand are familiar to both domestic and international markets.
As Vietnam’s economy becomes increasingly integrated, the company is expanding its production facilities to take advantage of opportunities from multiple free trade agreements that Vietnam has joined and signed.
Chairman and General Director Nguyen Huu Mien said the enterprise will strengthen the application of modern technology in seafood processing and preservation, and expand online transactions to enhance brand reputation and value in domestic and global markets.
With its own characteristics, Autel Robotics Vietnam Co., Ltd. at in VSIP urban, industrial and service complex places strong emphasis on applying digital technology in manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles and related devices for professional applications.
Hai Phong’s seaport and inland waterway port service enterprises are also accelerating digital transformation, helping realize the city's goal of becoming a regional logistics hub. To date, 100% of ports have invested in modern management systems, with more than 40% applying digital port platforms.
Continuing to be a bright spot

To realize the Politburo’s Resolution 57 and Hai Phong’s Action Program 89, the city is accelerating digital transformation across all sectors.
In the economic sector, the city focuses on attracting high-tech, clean-tech and environmentally friendly projects; promoting the development of centralized information technology zones, research and development areas and innovation centers; and cooperating with major domestic and international technology corporations to deploy digital transformation projects in manufacturing, logistics, finance and banking.
Regarding the digital economy, Hai Phong has more than 1,100 digital technology enterprises and nearly 9,000 small- and medium-sized enterprises using digital platforms. To date, all enterprises have implemented electronic contracts, and business registration procedures are conducted online at level 4.
Pham Hong Quat, Director of the National Agency for Startups and Technology Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Science and Technology, said Hai Phong is a bright spot for science-technology and innovation in both the Northern Delta region and the country. Technology exchanges and startup innovation centers in Hai Phong are connected with many international partners in various fields. “These relationships are deepening through cooperation agreements that Hai Phong units are preparing with foreign incubators, business accelerators and investment funds,” Quat affirmed.
