The workshop gathered speakers who are Net Zero experts and representatives of enterprises operating in the IP.
Opening the workshop, Luong Xuan Dam, Director of the Nam Dinh Vu IP Management Board, said the IP has the potential to become a pioneering green IP of Hai Phong and Vietnam based on the Vietnam eco-IP criteria and the UNIDO framework.

To become a green IP, in the coming period, Nam Dinh Vu will focus on four orientations: developing industrial symbiosis; promoting the circular economy; building a low-emission IP through energy saving, renewable energy and emission monitoring; and connecting green finance mechanisms and support programs to reduce initial investment costs.
Nam Dinh Vu aims to become an eco-IP by 2029, with three implementation phases. The 2024–2025 phase focuses on data surveys, training and policy completion; the 2026–2027 phase involves investing in energy, waste and social infrastructure; and the 2028–2029 phase includes expanding symbiosis, obtaining eco-IP certification and promoting communication.
