Hai Phong receives nearly 750 million VND in flood relief donations

Through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong, several organizations, individuals, businesses and localities have contributed funds to support those affected by storms and floods.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hai Phong Nguyen Duc Tuan has received nearly 750 million VND in donations from collectives, units, businesses and local residents to support people affected by storms and floods at the headquarters of the city VFF Committee.

Specifically, the Party Committee, authorities and residents of Kim Thanh commune contributed 225.45 million VND; residents and officials of Ha Bac commune contributed 318 million VND; and Con Ong Transport and Forwarding JSC. donated 200 million VND.

On behalf of the Standing Board of the city VFF Committee, Tuan acknowledged and expressed appreciation for the compassion and solidarity shown by officials and residents of the localities, as well as employees of the contributing units. These meaningful contributions provide timely encouragement to people in disaster-hit areas, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The city VFF Committee will compile detailed and public reports on the donations and promptly transfer them to residents in storm- and flood-affected areas, ensuring transparency and proper allocation.

All contributions may be sent to the city Relief Fund account under the name: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong – Relief Fund Mobilization Board, account number: 2473018888 at Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – East Hai Phong Branch; or Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong, account number: 3751.0.1003001.00000 at the State Treasury of Region III. Transfer notes should clearly state: “name of organization/individual, address… supporting residents of localities affected by floods and storms.”

Organizations and individuals may also make direct contributions at the office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong at lot 26A Le Hong Phong street, Gia Vien ward, Hai Phong city.
