Le Quy Don Junior High School receives third-class Independence Order

Le Quy Don Junior High School has been honored to receive a third-class Independence Order from the President on the occasion of its 30th founding anniversary.

Le Quy Don Junior High School (JHS) in Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Phong city, celebrated its 30th founding anniversary (1995 – 2025) and received a third-class Independence Order on November 16.

Pham Ngoc Thuong, Standing Deputy Minister of Education and Training, and Le Van Hieu, Chairman of the city People’s Council, came to share the joy with the school’s teachers and students.

Hai Duong town Gifted School was renamed Le Quy Don JHS in July 1997, with a core mission of identifying and nurturing academically gifted students.

Over 30 years of development, generations of teachers and students have overcome many challenges to build a proud legacy. Among thousands of students who have won awards at various academic competitions, 44 earned national first prizes or gold medals, and 140 secured provincial first prizes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong praised and acknowledged the school’s outstanding achievements over the past three decades.

For future development, he suggested that the school build a team of teachers who are “both virtuous and competent.” Each teacher should be an inspiration and a source of support for students. “The school needs to improve comprehensive education quality, build a digital, smart, and happy school, and strengthen moral and life skills education for students,” Thuong emphasized.
