Strengthening patriotic emulation movement in Hong An ward
Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Council Le Van Hieu has called on the Party committee, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and mass organizations in Hong An ward to mobilize the strength of residents and promote the patriotic emulation movement.

Residential group 7 of Hong An ward, Hai Phong city held the 2025 Great National Unity Day celebration to mark the 95th traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 – 2025) on the afternoon of November 15.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the city People’s Council Le Van Hieu acknowledged and commended the comprehensive and practical achievements of residential group 7.

To build on the results, he requested the local Party committee, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Front Work Committee, and mass organizations to continue upholding traditions of unity, compassion and creativity, mobilizing internal strength, and advancing the patriotic emulation movement in connection with effectively implementing the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas.”
They are also encouraged to expand practical movements and models such as “skillful mass mobilization,” “drug-free residential group,” and “learning and talent promotion community.”

Over the past time, the Front Work Committee of residential group 7 has encouraged residents to develop the economy and support one another in sustainable poverty reduction, thereby improving livelihoods.
The group no longer has poor or near-poor households. All 260 households registered as cultured families. Officials and residents have joined hands in building a cultural lifestyle and a bright, green, clean and beautiful environment.
