Cargo throughput at Hai Phong seaports up 11.67% in 10 months
In the first ten months of 2025, total cargo throughput at Hai Phong seaports exceeded 162 million tons, up 11.67% from the same period in 2024.
Cargo volume handled at seaports across Hai Phong city reached 22.95 million tons in October, an increase of 7.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
Specifically, State-owned ports handled 4.852 million tons, equivalent to 99% of the same period last year, while non-State ones were estimated to handle 18.098 million tons, a rise of 9.86% year-on-year.
In the first ten months of 2025, total cargo throughput at Hai Phong seaports hit 162.73 million tons, up 11.67% from the same period in 2024. Total port revenue across the city exceeded 6.849 trillion VND, rising by 9.9% year-on-year.
With these results, Hai Phong met its October growth target and surpassed the ten-month projection. Several ports in the city achieved strong growth, including VIP Green Port, Nam Dinh Vu, Hai An, and Nam Hai Dinh Vu.
