The renowned US travel magazine National Geographic Traveller has released its list of the best islands in Southeast Asia, featuring Cat Ba island in Cat Hai special zone, Hai Phong city, Vietnam as an ideal destination for adventure seekers.
Covering more than 260 km2, Cat Ba is the largest island in the Ha Long Bay, known for its stunning limestone karst landscapes, diverse marine ecosystems, and thrilling adventure activities popular with international travelers.
National Geographic Traveller describes Cat Ba as a “climbers’ playground,” especially Butterfly Valley.
