Hai Phong public employees to have 9 days off for 2026 Lunar New Year
The Hai Phong People’s Committee has announced the schedule for Tet (Lunar New Year) and National Day holidays in 2026 for officials, public employees, and workers across the city.
Accordingly, public employees and workers at administrative agencies, public service units, political organizations, and socio-political organizations will have five official days off for Tet, from February 16 - 20, 2026.
Including weekends, they will enjoy a total of nine consecutive days off, from February 14 - 22, 2026.
For the National Day holiday (September 2), public employees and workers will have two official days off on September 1 and 2. They will also have Monday, August 31, off and work on Saturday, August 22, as compensation.
Including weekends, the National Day holiday will last five consecutive days, from August 29 to September 2.
