Hai Phong-based Military Hospital 7 held a ceremony on October 20 to receive a third-class Fatherland Protection Order from the President and celebrate its 75th founding anniversary (October 20, 1950 – 2025).
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Ha Tat Dat, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, commended the Party Committee, Board of Directors, officers, and soldiers of the hospital for their achievements over 75 years of development.

He suggested that in the coming time, Military Hospital 7 continue to strictly implement resolutions and directives from higher levels regarding military and defense tasks, as well as protection of and care for the health of soldiers and civilians; reform work practices toward efficiency and dedication while reducing inconvenience for patients; and uphold President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching that “A good physician is like a kind mother.”
From a wartime medical unit with limited facilities, Military Hospital 7 has grown into a grade-I general hospital under Military Region 3. Its infrastructure is now modern and well-equipped, with multi-story treatment, outpatient, and command buildings, along with comprehensive medical equipment to meet the healthcare needs of both soldiers and civilians.

In scientific research, the hospital has completed dozens of State- and ministry-level projects, many of which have received awards and been effectively applied in diagnosis and treatment.
With outstanding achievements, Military Hospital 7 has been honored with the title “Heroic Unit of the People’s Armed Forces” and multiple first-, second-, and third-class Military Exploit and Military Merit Orders.
