Cold air intensifies, lowering Hai Phong temperature to 19 – 21°C
Due to the influence of cold air, Hai Phong is forecast to experience no rain and the lowest temperature of 19 – 21°C.
According to the Hai Phong Hydro-Meteorological Station, a cold air mass is weakly affecting the northeastern localities of Vietnam.
Today (October 20), the cold air mass will become stronger and affect Hai Phong. Under its influence, the city will remain dry with no rainfall.
From October 21 to 22, the cold air will intensify further, bringing cooler nights and mornings to Hai Phong. The lowest temperatures are predicted to range from 19°C to 21°C, with northeasterly winds at level 2 – 3 on land.
At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, including Bach Long Vi special zone of Hai Phong, northeasterly winds will strengthen to level 6, occasionally reaching level 7 with gusts at level 8 – 9, causing rough seas and waves 1.5 – 2.5 m high. In the Do Son, Cat Hai, and Lan Ha Bay waters, northeasterly winds will reach level 3 – 4, with waves 0.25 – 0.75 m high.
