Vinh Thuan commune proposes construction of 120-ha modern logistics center
The People’s Committee of Vinh Thuan commune in Hai Phong city has proposed the construction of a modern logistics center on more than 120 ha of land to the city authorities.

Vinh Thuan commune’s natural advantages and favorable conditions offer great potential for logistics development, according to Dinh Phu Hieu, Chairman of the commune People’s Committee.
Therefore, the commune has proposed the construction of a modern logistics center on more than 120 ha of land to the city authorities, presenting a special opportunity for domestic and foreign investors to collaborate with local authorities and residents to turn Vinh Thuan into a strategic logistics hub, contributing to Hai Phong’s goal of becoming a national and international logistics center.
Several South Korean companies have already visited the locality to study potential investments in industry and logistics.
Covering a total area of 23.5 km2 with a population of nearly 29,000, Vinh Thuan is located 38 km from central Hai Phong and 15 km from the Southern Coastal Economic Zone. The commune sits at a key junction of national highways 5, 10, and 37, as well as the Ninh Binh–Hung Yen–Hai Phong expressway, providing direct connections to Lach Huyen port, Nam Do Son port, and Cat Bi airport.

The surrounding area includes major industrial parks such as the 410-ha Tien Thanh industrial park and the 678-ha Trang Due one, along with several others totaling over 1,560 ha within a 15-km radius, generating a strong and growing demand for logistics services.
Additionally, the commune has planned two industrial clusters totaling 100 ha, one industrial park covering 195 ha, and a 188-ha land reserve for future industrial development.
The proposed logistics center in Vinh Thuan will benefit from three major advantages: its location as a southwestern gateway to Hai Phong, its comprehensive connectivity through the ports, airport, and expressway, and its proximity to the large-scale industrial parks.
Given the rapidly growing demand for logistics services, the center is expected to become a core hub for warehousing, cargo transit, and import–export operations.
