Accelerating public investment disbursement in An Lao and Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club project
Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Anh Quan has required the An Lao Project Management Board to develop construction plans to accelerate the progress of ongoing works and projects.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Anh Quan inspected the implementation of the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club project and the disbursement progress of 2025 public investment funds managed by the An Lao Project Management Board on October 16.
Quan instructed the board to promptly draw up construction schedules to speed up the progress of projects and works.
To ensure full disbursement of the allocated funds, the An Lao Project Management Board must urge contractors to mobilize maximum manpower and equipment and take advantage of favorable weather conditions in the final months of the year to complete the works and projects with guaranteed quality.
Regarding the Lao Cai – Ha Noi – Hai Phong railway investment project, localities are to coordinate with the Department of Construction to regularly update project information, accurately determine boundary markers, and carry out site clearance. They must also work with the Management Board for Transport and Agricultural Work Construction Projects to expedite the implementation of resettlement projects.
The Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club project has been identified by the city as one of its key projects. The Standing Vice Chairman required the Department of Finance to promptly review and carefully assess the proposal to adjust the project’s investment policy based on the investor’s commitment to implementation progress. If construction delays occur or commitments are not met, the project may be subject to revocation.
The Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club project began construction in March 2025. The investor has proposed increasing the total investment from 2.271 trillion VND to 3.701 trillion VND and extending the completion date to November 2027.
