First 220 visitors experience new tour at Con Son – Kiep Bac
While many individual tourists had previously visited, this marks the first organized group of 220 travelers joining the new tour at Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site.
The FC Tour Hai Phong Club, in coordination with the Con Son – Kiep Bac Relic Management Board, organized the “Discover Con Son – Kiep Bac heritage” tour for the first group of 220 participants on October 15.
During the tour, the visitors experienced the full range of world heritage values at Con Son – Kiep Bac. Highlights included visiting Kiep Bac relic site, home to the temple dedicated to National Hero Tran Hung Dao, and joining engaging hands-on activities such as making Van Yen ceramics, taking photos in traditional costumes, and painting lotus flowers on conical hats. The guests also enjoyed Kiep Bac lotus tea, sampled Con Son mung bean cakes, and shopped for local OCOP products.
After a lunch featuring local specialties, the visitors continued their journey to Con Son relic site, including Con Son pagoda and Nguyen Trai temple.
In addition to exploring Con Son pagoda, the tourists also took part in various interesting activities such as attending the Cuu Pham Lien Hoa (Nine-tier Lotus-shaped Tower) rotating ritual, discovering the Con Son stream, learning woodblock printing and calligraphy, dressing in traditional costumes for photos, and tasting Con Son chrysanthemum tea.
This tour is one of three new tourism products recently launched by Hai Phong city.
FC Tour Hai Phong Club carefully selected the best transportation and tour guide services and work closely with the Con Son – Kiep Bac Relic Management Board to prepare detailed experiential activities and ensure qualified on-site guides, offering the visitors impressive and delightful experiences exclusive to this new tourism product.
