Accelerating progress of extended road 396 and provincial road 390B projects
Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan has directed local authorities to promptly hand over cleared land to contractors for implementation of the projects.
On the afternoon of October 14, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan inspected site clearance and construction progress of the extended road 396 project, as well as the disbursement progress for upgrading provincial road 390B and building a bypass around the former Thanh Ha township.
The extended road 396 project has a total length of more than 7.6 km, including a bridge over the Thai Binh river, with a total investment of over 846 billion VND. The route starts at road 391 at the intersection with the East–West trunk-road in Lac Phuong commune and ends at the approach road to Quang Thanh bridge in Ha Dong commune.
Regarding the project to upgrade provincial road 390B and build the bypass around the former Thanh Ha township, the total allocated capital for 2025 is 203 billion VND, nearly 114 billion VND of which has been used, and the disbursement plan is expected to be completed by the end of December.
Vice Chairman Tran Van Quan acknowledged the initial results achieved in site clearance and disbursement progress. He urged local authorities to continue cooperating to complete site clearance and construction units to promptly mobilize equipment and manpower once cleared land is available, ensuring that the projects stay on schedule.
