Hai Phong always accompanies, facilitates investment from TCL Group and other businesses
Hai Phong has maintained a consistent stance that the success of enterprises is the success of the city itself.

On the afternoon of October 14, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau received a courtesy visit from a delegation of TCL Smart Device (Viet Nam) Co., Ltd. under TCL Group, led by Wang Cheng, CEO of TCL Technology Group.
Secretary Le Tien Chau expressed his appreciation and congratulated TCL Group on its remarkable achievements both globally and in Vietnam. He also conveyed his hope that the group would invest in production and business activities in Hai Phong, affirming that the city would accompany, support, and create the most favorable conditions for the firm.

In addition to facilitating the group’s access to land, administrative procedures, preferential tax policies, labor sources, and clean energy, the city will also work alongside the enterprise to submit proposals and recommendations on issues under the authority of the Central government.
Secretary Le Tien Chau emphasized that Hai Phong consistently adheres to the principle that “the success of enterprises is the success of the city itself.”

If TCL Group decides to invest in Hai Phong, the city hopes that to ensure long-term and stable operations, the group will consider establishing a research and innovation center here. The city will introduce special mechanisms and policies exclusively for this center and build an ecosystem and value chain linkage with supporting industries and input suppliers for the group. This will help TCL reduce input costs and enhance product competitiveness.
Expressing appreciation for the warm reception from the city’s leaders, TCL executives said they were deeply impressed by Hai Phong’s strong economic growth. The group will continue to study the city in greater depth to develop future directions and strategies.

TCL Group, founded in 1981, is a global technology manufacturer operating in multiple sectors, including smart devices, display and semiconductor materials, and new photovoltaic energy.
TCL is currently operating four major facilities in Vietnam with a total accumulated investment of 310 million USD, comprising one television manufacturing plant in Ho Chi Minh city and three production facilities in Quang Ninh province.
