Hai Phong supports localities affected by rain and floods with additional 14 billion VND
This support reflects the timely care and sharing of Hai Phong Party and citizens with the losses and severe consequences suffered by the affected localities.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hai Phong has allocated 14 billion VND from voluntary contributions for recovery from natural disasters, epidemics, and other incidents to the VFF committees of four provinces to help them overcome damage caused by recent storms and floods.
Specifically, 5 billion VND was sent to Thai Nguyen province, while Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh each received 3 billion VND.
This support reflects the timely care and sharing of Hai Phong Party and citizens with the losses and severe consequences suffered by the affected localities. It aims to encourage the local authorities and people to soon overcome the impacts of rain and floods, restore economic activities and livelihoods.
Earlier, the VFF Committee of Hai Phong had provided 20 billion VND to the VFF committees of six provinces and cities of Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, and Hue to help them recover from damage caused by Storm No. 10 (Bualoi).
