Officials, lecturers, and students of Hai Phong University donate nearly 700 units of blood
The voluntary blood donation festival attracted nearly 1,000 officials, lecturers, and students of Hai Phong University, collecting nearly 700 units of blood.
The Youth Union, Student Association, and Voluntary Blood Donation Propagandists Club of Hai Phong University, in coordination with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Viet Tiep Hospital, organized the third voluntary blood donation festival of 2025 on October 8.
The event drew nearly 1,000 participants from the university community. The organizers received nearly 700 units of blood, contributing to the reserve supply for medical treatment and emergency care, helping to address the shortage of blood at healthcare facilities.
In total, more than 1,700 units of blood were collected through three donation drives held this year. The Youth Union, Student Association, and Voluntary Blood Donation Propagandists Club of Hai Phong University will continue to raise awareness about the humanitarian significance and benefits of blood donation, as well as sharing inspiring stories of exemplary donors to encourage more donors.
