Hai Phong city has continuously expanded recruitment support channels and job-matching platforms, helping workers easily access information and find suitable jobs, while assisting businesses in recruiting the right people for their needs.

Abundant job opportunities

After her maternity leave and a period of online sales, Dao Thi Thu Thuy (32 years old in Vinh Lai commune, Hai Phong city) searched recruitment information on websites, applied for a sewing worker position at a foreign-invested enterprise, and was accepted to start work in October this year.

“At this time, I see that job opportunities are quite diverse, with both skilled positions and some that do not require prior experience. Most enterprises commit to monthly paying workers from 7 to 10 million VND per person. With many options available, I prioritize working near home to conveniently take care of my family and pick up my children from school,” said Thuy.

Nguyen Thi Thanh, Head of the Job Counseling and Introduction and Vocational Training Department under the Hai Phong Employment Service Center, reported that during job fairs in August and September, many enterprises needed to recruit an additional 500 – 2,000 workers, such as Regina Miracle International Vietnam Co., Ltd., Maple Co., Ltd., Hai Anh Garment JSC., and Jasan Vietnam Co., Ltd. With high demand, workers will have many opportunities to choose jobs that suit their abilities, strengths, and personal conditions.

In the last three months of 2025, many enterprises will continue to recruit more workers with attractive benefits. At the main gate of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd., a large board provides detailed information on salaries and allowances. Especially notable are major bonuses like 3 million VND for workers applying on their own and 4 million VND for those introducing new workers who stay for at least three months.

According to Yu Peng Hui, General Director of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd., the company’s new orders are stable. In addition to factories No. 2, 6, and 8, the company has rented factory No. 1 at An Duong industrial park. In the fourth quarter of this year, the company is expected to recruit about 1,000 additional workers.

More support channels

To support workers, since early 2025, the Hai Phong Department of Home Affairs’ Employment Service Center has organized both in-person and online job fairs, increasing the number of workers accessing recruitment information and interviews by 1.5 times compared to before. Some fairs attracted nearly 1,500 people engaging, following, and responding. After the fairs, about 3,000 workers passed the preliminary round and advanced to in-depth interviews.

Tang Tien Son, Director of the Employment Service Center, said that beyond diversifying job counseling and introduction methods, the center will increase the number of job fairs connected with other provinces and cities to expand recruitment scope for enterprises.

In addition, the center will strengthen cooperation to organize mobile job fairs at high schools, continuing education and vocational training centers, vocational schools, and colleges to anticipate the labor force soon to enter the labor market.

According to Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, the total number of workers in the city’s industrial parks and economic zones has reached nearly 345,000. In the past nine months, enterprises in these areas recruited about 4,000 workers.

In March 2025, the city People’s Committee issued Decision No. 807 approving a project to attract and utilize talents and high-quality human resources of Hai Phong city until 2030, with a vision to 2050. This is a practical framework and an important basis, like a “magnet,” in the context of Hai Phong’s high demand for human resources to serve economic development.
