1st Hai Phong Party Executive Committee with 78 members debuts at Party Congress
The Politburo has appointed the 1st Executive Committee of Hai Phong organization for the 2025–2030 tenure with 78 members, and the Standing Committee of the city Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure with 20 members.
Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, announced the Politburo’s decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, and the Deputy Secretaries of the Hai Phong Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure at the 1st city Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure on September 27.
According to the Politburo’s decision, the Executive Committee of the city Party organization for the 2025–2030 tenure consists of 78 members, and the Standing Committee of the city Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure consists of 20 members.
Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the city Party Committee, and Head of the city National Assembly Deputy Delegation, was appointed Secretary of the city Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee, was appointed Standing Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure.
The Deputy Secretaries of the city Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure are Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee and Chairman of the city People’s Council, and Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee and Chairman of the city People’s Committee, who was also nominated to assume the position of Chairman of the city People’s Committee for the 2026–2031 tenure; and Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong, who was also nominated to assume the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong for the 2025–2030 tenure.
In his acceptance speech, Secretary Le Tien Chau, on behalf of the 1st Executive Committee of the city Party organization, sincerely expressed gratitude for the attention and trust of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Party Secretariat, especially Party General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and thanked the Congress for entrusting them with this responsibility before the city Party organization, government, and people.
At the Congress, on behalf of the Presidium, Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee, announced the Politburo’s decision to appoint the delegation of the city Party organization to attend the 14th National Party Congress, including 44 official delegates and 3 alternate ones.
