The appraisal council for evaluating electronic medical record files of Hoa Binh General Hospital has recently conducted an assessment of the conditions for implementing electronic medical records to replace paper ones.
Finally, all 20 members of the council agreed that the hospital is qualified to implement electronic medical records.
The appraisal council assessed that the electronic medical record files of Hoa Binh General Hospital basically meet the requirements for inpatient and outpatient treatment. The hospital’s server room meets standards; hospital information management, laboratory information management, image storage and transmission, display, and record output software all reaches advanced levels.
The hospital meets the requirements for using digital and electronic signatures in accordance with regulations. Administrative, financial, and non-functional management software has been deployed synchronously.
The hospital has established incident management regulations and information security recovery scenarios. At the same time, it implements patient reception using citizen ID cards, cashless payment of hospital fees, and reduced patient waiting time.
Hoa Binh General Hospital has 276 medical workers across 14 specialized departments and six functional offices and more than 200 experts, including associate professors and doctors, from Central-level hospitals also participate in medical examination and treatment at the hospital.
