From August 21 to September 20, more than 218,300 applications were received on Hai Phong city’s administrative procedure settlement information system, of which nearly 192,800 applications were processed and results returned to citizens.

In the past month, the rate of online submissions accounted for 80.65% of the city’s total applications, up about 4% compared to the previous month.

This initial positive change was achieved after the Department of Science and Technology had completed the data migration to the city-managed shared sectoral information system following the merger with Hai Duong province, ensuring full, accurate, and intact data to serve administrative procedure management, administration, and settlement, and provision of online public services in accordance with the direction of the chairman of the city People’s Committee.

The Office of the city People’s Committee directed the city Public Administration Service Center to coordinate with the departments, agencies under the city People’s Committee, and commune-level People’s Committees to control electronic processes on the administrative procedure settlement information system, ensuring consistency between internal procedures and electronic processes, reducing processing time, and assigning authority for officials, public servants, and staff in charge of handling administrative applications.

Regular inspections, guidance, and timely recommendations were carried out to address difficulties and obstacles, especially “bottlenecks” and blockages in the reception and settlement of administrative procedures across the city.
