Hai Phong Party agencies raises over 280 million VND to support Cuban people
The Party Committee of Hai Phong Party agencies has reported over 280 million VND in initial donations after the launch of a fundraising campaign.
The Party Committee of Hai Phong Party agencies launched a fundraising program on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 – 2025) on September 16.
Shortly after that, a large number of officials and Party members from 12 affiliated Party cells and committees actively donated a total amount of more than 280 million VND, demonstrating their profound affection and loyalty toward the Cuban people – Vietnam’s traditional and faithful friends.
All contributions will be collected by the Party Committee of the city Party agencies and handed over to the Hai Phong Red Cross Society to be delivered to the proper recipients.
On the same day, Regiment 50 under the city Military Command also launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people with the spirit of “Pure international solidarity, consistent from beginning to end.” The campaign runs from August 28 to October 14, with the participation of 100% of officers and soldiers. On the very first day, more than 40 million VND was raised.
