Workers in VSIP Hai Phong industrial park enjoy better benefits than average
Workers in VSIP Hai Phong industrial park receive attendance allowances, meal support, health check-ups, and other benefits at levels higher than the general average.

Currently, enterprises in VSIP Hai Phong are employing the largest workforce in the city, with around 66,000 people.
According to preliminary statistics, 36 grassroots trade unions have been established in the industrial park, with more than 57,000 members. The average monthly income of direct production workers is 10.26 million VND/ person. Most enterprises pay workers an attendance allowance of 300,000 VND/ month, an average travel allowance of 450,000 VND/ month, and meal support ranging from 25,000 - 40,000 VND/ shift, all above the average. Notably, enterprises also provide regular health check-ups for workers, with an average cost of more than 600,000 VND/ person.

In the first eight months of 2025, several grassroots unions in VSIP Hai Phong negotiated with business owners and achieved special agreements. For example, the Trade Union of Maple Co., Ltd. negotiated to increase the basic salary for workers from 5.6 million VND to 6 million VND per month, while that of Regina Miracle International Vietnam Co., Ltd. successfully bargained for an additional allowance of VND 300,000 per month for garment workers.
Many grassroots trade unions in the park also mobilized a large number of members to participate in vibrant cultural, artistic, and sports activities such as flashmob dancing, the “5,000 happy steps” run, football friendlies, and voluntary blood donations, attracting more than 4,000 participants.
