Deputy PM praises Hai Phong’s outdoor zone at National Achievements Exhibition
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has visited and praised the impressive large-scale outdoor zone of Hai Phong city, which conveys the message “Hai Phong – Trust and aspiration to rise with the nation.”
On the afternoon of August 27, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, together with a working delegation, visited and inspected Hai Phong’s outdoor zone at the National Achievements Exhibition, held to celebrate the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025).
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated Hai Phong’s efforts and creative approach in preparation, particularly the clear strategic vision reflected in the organization of the exhibition space.
The nearly 10,000-m2 outdoor space with 80 booths vividly reflects the theme “Hai Phong – Trust and aspiration to rise with the nation,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Beyond honoring outstanding socio-economic achievements, the exhibition space also strongly conveys Hai Phong’s aspiration to rise as one of the country’s three largest cities, ready for deeper integration and greater contributions to national development in the new era.
The Deputy Prime Minister also praised the scientific and modern arrangement of the booths, with close interconnection between sectors, prominently featuring high-tech industry, seaports and logistics, construction and real estate, high-tech agriculture, handicrafts, services and tourism, as well as interactive experience.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh was particularly impressed with the miniature landscape simulating Hai Phong’s future vision as a global hub of commerce, logistics and industry, with smart infrastructure, modern industrial parks, high-rise buildings and large-scale factories, demonstrating the city’s readiness to make breakthroughs in the era of integration and innovation.
The National Achievements Exhibition is a major political and cultural event on a national scale, vividly recreating the nation’s glorious 80-year journey and comprehensive development achievements in the period of integration.
