Hai Phong Party Committee Secretary Le Tien Chau visits, presents gifts to families of revolution contributors in Cat Hai special zone

Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau visited and gave gifts to families of revolution contributors in Cat Hai special zone on August 16 morning.

Visiting the family of Hoang Van Van, who worships martyr and Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Hoang Thanh Loan in Minh Chau hamlet, Secretary Le Tien Chau and his entourage offered incense in commemoration at his memorial house.

Secretary Le Tien Chau encouraged Hoang Van Van to take care of his health, continue fulfilling the duties of worship and remembrance, and maintain the memorial house dedicated to Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Hoang Thanh Loan. He also asked Cat Hai special zone authorities to continue paying attention and developing this place as a meaningful “red address” for educating younger generations about the revolutionary tradition.

Visiting the family of Le Trong Canh, born in 1930, a 4/4-class wounded veteran in hamlet 3, Cat Ba, Secretary Le Tien Chau and the delegation kindly inquired about his health, acknowledging and highly appreciating his contributions during the resistance wars against French colonialists and US imperialists.

His achievements have been recognized with three Glorious Soldier Orders, one Third-class Victory Order, and one First-class Anti-US Resistance War Order.

Secretary Le Tien Chau wished Le Trong Canh good health and a happy life with his descendants, encouraging him to continue promoting the spirit of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and educating young generations to strive in work, production, and national defense, contributing to the development of Cat Hai special zone and Hai Phong city.
