Enhancing IT and AI application skills for Hai Phong teachers
Teachers in Hai Phong city are being trained in applying information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) to designing, organizing, and managing teaching activities.

The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Republic of Korea’s Gyeongsangnam Department of Education, on the morning of August 11 organized the opening ceremony of a training course on the application of IT and AI to teaching for managers and teachers at educational institutions in the city.

Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational and Continuing Education under the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, and Hwang Sunghyo, Head of the Gyeongsangnam Department of Education delegation.
The course is taking place from August 11 to 14 at the Smart Center – Hai Phong Continuing Education Center, with direct instruction of experts from the Gyeongsangnam Department of Education.

The training focuses on skills for applying IT and AI to designing, organizing, and managing teaching activities, enabling teachers to enhance their technological knowledge, adopt innovative approaches, and maximize teaching effectiveness.
The program aims to effectively implement the 2025 cooperation plan between the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training and the Gyeongsangnam Department of Education, demonstrating the effectiveness of international cooperation in education.

It also provides an opportunity for managers and teachers at the city’s continuing education institutions to access new technological trends, advanced teaching methods, and experiences from Korean education, one of the global leaders in smart education and AI application in teaching, thereby improving professional capacity to meet the requirements of digital transformation and international educational integration.
Upon completion of the course, the teachers will receive certificates and serve as core members in disseminating new knowledge and skills at their workplaces.
