Duong An to become smart, green, and friendly new-style rural commune
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Do Manh Hien has suggested that the Duong An Party organization strive to turn the commune into a model smart new-style rural area with a digital government by 2030.

The Party organization of Duong An commune, Hai Phong city held the first Congress for the 2025–2030 term on the morning of August 11.
In his directive speech at the event, Standing Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee Do Manh Hien acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the commune Party organization.
He suggested that in the coming term, the commune Party organization continue to enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength; build a team of officials and civil servants with integrity, competence, and exemplary conduct; strengthen inspection and supervision; prevent and combat corruption and other negative practices; promote administrative reform; etc.
Duong An needs to mobilize all resources to develop synchronized infrastructure, expand connectivity, promote green and sustainable growth in association with digital transformation, improve the quality of life, ensure social welfare, and achieve sustainable poverty reduction, Hien noted.
The official also recommended the commune to maintain political security and social order, proactively address issues arising at the grassroots level, promote democracy, strengthen the great unity of the entire people, mobilize citizens to participate in building the Party and government, and effectively implement the project to build a socialist model associated with socialist-oriented citizens bearing the locality’s distinctive identity.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee urged the commune Party organization to strive to achieve digital government, digital infrastructure, digital agriculture, digital urban planning, digital education, and digital healthcare by 2030. The commune should ensure proper waste collection and treatment from the source, expand green spaces, and create a friendly living environment.
The commune Party organization currently has 1,926 members in 46 subordinate Party cells and committees.
During the last term, Duong An’s economy grew steadily, with total production value increasing by an average of 10.9% per year, handicraft production value by 12.2% per year, trade and services by 13.4% per year, and budget revenue by 10% per year, ensuring expenditure requirements, especially for development investment.
The fields of culture, society, environment, administrative reform, information technology application, and digital transformation have all made positive progress, contributing to improving the material and spiritual well-being of the people.
