In response to activities marking the 64th Vietnam’s Day for Agent Orange/dioxin Victims (August 10, 1961 – 2025), on the afternoon of August 10, the Hai Phong Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, led by Deputy Head Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, visited and presented gifts to three Agent Orange/dioxin victims in Binh Giang commune.

The delegation visited the families of Vu Thi Phien and Vu Thi Tuoi, both suffering from Agent Orange/dioxin aftereffects from their fathers, and the family of Nguyen Hong Phang, a veteran who fought on the Thua Thien battlefield.

Phang is currently suffering from bladder cancer, with a 35% Agent Orange contamination rate and a 21% war injury rate. The consequences of Agent Orange on Phang have also affected his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At the visited households, Nguyen Thi Viet Nga warmly inquired about their health and living conditions, offered words of encouragement, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of war invalids, sick soldiers, and policy beneficiary families. She wished the victims and their relatives strength to overcome hardships.
