Street performances light up downtown Hai Phong
The street art performance held at the square of Hai Phong Opera House featured a variety of vibrant and captivating acts, drawing large crowds of locals and tourists alike and creating a lively, culturally rich atmosphere.

The Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition under the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a street art program showcasing a series of unique performances at the square of Hai Phong Opera House on August 2 evening.
This is a regular activity held along the city’s central promenade, contributing to the creation of an open cultural space, promoting community art movements, and spreading the image of a dynamic and creative port city.

An outdoor stage was set up in a central location, equipped with dynamic lighting and sound effects, creating a festive weekend gathering spot for audiences of all ages.
The show opened with an energetic dance performance that set the tone for the evening. Subsequent performances kept the excitement alive with modern staging, seamlessly blending music and theatrical expression to reflect contemporary trends.

One of the program’s highlights was a series of circus acts staged by the Vietnam Circus Federation.
The fire-blowing act, performed with stunning skill, captivated the audience, while other impressive performances such as “hula hoop” and the “sword-balancing art” act earned continuous applause from the crowd.

In addition to the main performances, the event also offered supporting activities like an art photo and painting exhibition, as well as balloon art that proved especially popular with younger visitors.
More than just a place for entertainment and relaxation, the program provided the public with opportunities to engage with diverse art forms, nurturing aesthetic appreciation and encouraging a culture of enjoying the arts.

With consistent investment and fresh, innovative content, Hai Phong’s regular street art programs have become a unique cultural rendezvous for city dwellers every weekend.
