Hai Phong to launch and inaugurate 8 projects to celebrate 80th National Day
Hai Phong city will launch four new projects and inaugurate four completed ones in celebration of the 80th National Day of Vietnam.
To mark the 80th National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – 2025), the People's Committee of Hai Phong city has registered four groundbreaking projects, all managed by the Western Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The four projects aim to build a bridge over the Thai Binh river and a route from provincial road 391 to provincial road 390C as part of the former Ring Road I in Hai Duong province; a martyrs' temple and a cultural park in the former Hai Duong province; a bypass for national highway 37 through the former Gia Loc town; and a road connecting national highway 17B to Dinh bridge in Kinh Mon town.
The city People's Committee also registered four projects to be inaugurated on the same occasion, including the Megamall shopping center, Mai Chai bridge and its approach roads (component project 1) under the Vu Yen island entertainment, housing, and eco-park complex project developed by Vingroup JSC.
The other projects comprise phase II construction of Hai Duong Obstetrics Hospital, including inpatient and integrated service blocs, and the construction of the approach road to Dong Viet bridge connecting to national highway 37 in Hai Phong city, both managed by the Western Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The city People's Committee also proposed an inauguration ceremony for Mai Chai bridge and its approach roads on August 19, 2025.
