Downpours to occur in some places of Hai Duong due to circulation of storm No. 1

As forecast by the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station at 11 am on July 1, due to the circulation of storm No. 1, there will be moderate and heavy rain in Hai Duong with downpours and thunderstorms in some places from the dusk of July 2.

The northeastern area of the province, including Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town, and the districts of Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, and Thanh Ha, will have a common rainfall of 70-150 mm, which may be higher in some areas.

The southwestern region of the province, consisting of Hai Duong city and Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, and Gia Loc districts, will have a total rainfall of 60-140 mm.

The circulation of storm No. 1 will affect areas in the province until July 4.

Previously, on June 30, the provincial Commanding Board for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search, and Rescue issued dispatch No. 1 requesting localities, agencies, and units to proactively brace for storm No. 1.
