Kim Thanh proposes 48 new residential projects to create key work investment sources

Kim Thanh district authorities have been assigned by the provincial authorities to build two key traffic works in the 2022 – 2023 period, including an east-west road (with a total investment of about 1,497 billion VND) and an interchange of national highway 5 in Kim Xuyen commune (with a total investment of around 1,185 billion VND).

To create sources for the key works, Kim Thanh district authorities proposed the implementation of 48 new residential projects with a total residential area of 99.34 ha in the 2022 – 2025 period. In which, 24 residential projects will be invested in by district and commune authorities, and the investors of the remaining projects will be selected.

The district authorities suggested execution of 27 projects with a total residential area of 52.62 ha in 2022 alone.

In addition, the district authorities proposed a new urban area to the east of Phu Thai township, the 2021 regional development motivating project, continue to be carried out in 2022 with a total residential area of 26.21 ha.

Last July, the district authorities commenced the construction of phase 1 of the east-west road. The interchange is expected to be built in 2023.
