127 swordsmen compete in National Youth Fencing Championship in Hai Duong

The 12th National Youth Fencing Championship kicked off at the Hai Duong provincial Gymnasium on September 21 afternoon.

Attending the tournament are 127 fencers from eight teams of Hai Phong, Ha Noi, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh city, People's Public Security, and the host Hai Duong.

They are divided into two age groups, 17 and 20, to compete in men’s and women’s team and singles events in three categories: foil, epee, and saber.

The first matches take place after the opening ceremony

The tournament is co-organized from September 21 to 28 by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
