Hai Phong Port will waive container storage fees across all its branches and subsidiaries during the National Day holiday.
To mark the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2), Hai Phong Port will exempt customers from container storage charges throughout the holiday. Imported, exported, transshipped, transited, and empty containers placed at the port from August 31 to the end of September 3 will not incur storage fees.
The policy will be implemented consistently across Hai Phong Port’s branches and subsidiaries, namely Tan Vu, Chua Ve, Hoang Dieu branches and related terminals.
The waiver aims to help businesses cut logistics costs, facilitate production and trade, and promote smoother cargo circulation through the port.
According to a Hai Phong Port representative, this annual customer appreciation activity reflects the enterprise’s social responsibility while promoting the image of a modern, friendly international seaport.
In the context of rising cargo throughput, the policy provides meaningful support, enabling businesses to stabilize transport plans and enhance competitiveness.
