Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan has required local authorities to ensure disbursement progress for public investment projects to be put into operation soon.

Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Tran Van Quan, together with leaders of relevant departments and agencies, inspected the progress of site clearance and public investment disbursement at several key projects in communes of Nam Sach region on the afternoon of October 22.
According to reports from the People’s Committees of Thai Tan and An Phu communes, there are currently no projects requiring site clearance in their areas. Meanwhile, three other communes, namely Hop Tien, Tran Phu, and Nam Sach, are implementing several projects related to site clearance.
The working delegation inspected the resettlement area in Cat Khe village, Tran Phu commune, and reviewed the construction and site clearance progress of the project to build Kenh Vang bridge and its approach roads.
After listening to reports from the localities, Vice Chairman Tran Van Quan acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and determination of the units involved in compensation and site clearance.
As the time left for 2025 public investment disbursement is limited, he urged localities to focus on thoroughly addressing difficulties and completing site clearance on schedule to hand over land to construction units. Ensuring disbursement progress meets or exceeds the set plan will help projects be put into operation soon, maximizing their effectiveness and promoting local socio-economic development, Quan noted.
